Mission:

The Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic Foundation exists to provide legal assistance and advice to persons who are poor (including but not limited to persons who cannot access justice due to cultural differences or who lack literacy skills or are undereducated) and/or persons who require relief from conditions associated with mental or physical disabilities.

Vision:

The vision of the Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic Foundation has two dimensions:

  • Community Vision
  • Stakeholder Vision

The Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic Foundation is an inclusive and participatory organization, one that is willing to examine and continually improve practices and policies in light of the contribution of clients, staff and volunteers.


COMMUNITY VISION

In pursuit of aiding the community, the Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic Foundation is an organization that:

  • provides clinical legal services to persons who are poor and persons who require relief from conditions associated with disabilities
  • provides issue-focused legal education programs and legal information for our clientele; and
  • creates positive awareness of our services to both the general public and the legal community


STAKEHOLDER VISION

The Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic Foundation is an interactive organization that identifies, understands, and responds to the needs and concerns of stakeholders. Stakeholders include:

  • Clients;
  • Volunteers;
  • Public and legal community;
  • Funders;
  • Interested governmental agencies; and
  • Related agencies.
