Volunteer
CACLC can be very flexible in accommodating your schedule. Some volunteers help weekly--most monthly--and some every few months. We currently run Evening Clinics on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00pm generally, although times can be adjusted to suit. Daytime clinics can be scheduled any time. We are currently in very short supply of volunteers in the Criminal and Family Law areas.
Clinics are usually two hours in length and volunteer lawyers receive training and orientation to the clinic process. In addition, we can set up shadowing opportunities to help you get started.
Retired lawyers are exempted from the Law Society's insurance requirements when providing pro bono services for our clinic. Contact Kathy at (403) 314-9129 Ext. 22 or kathy@communitylegalclinic.net to become a volunteer.
